For running headless is it possible to not require installing libwebkitgtk-6.0.so.4
My favorite part of "low code" was the conciseness of conveying what the process was and the expected outcome.
Still the king but developing/testing/debugging group policy issues is a miserable experience.
I wish licensing restrictions weren't holding back more widespread adoption of qt wasm.
Ive found nomad to be a much simpler replacement for smaller scale deployments.
We lost a good one.
I'll take QObject over GObject any day of the week.
This is why any piece of automation that comes into my home is required to function without internet or an app, in its own private vlan.
IKEA remotes are inexpensive and work really well with a proper zigbee adapter and zigbee2mqtt. Home assistant you can build actions right from the web ui.
M series mac's are my dream c++ development machines. Just this week I was investigating some potential bugs in Qt's javascript engine and I was recompiling it from source across multiple tags to bisect. On my i9 mac I…
One time payment for affinity photo/designer and couldn't be happier not to deal with Adobe's subpar software and all that comes with it.
C's get degrees was some of the best academic advice i ever received.
Interesting synchronicity of seeing this article. I just had an optometrist appointment this morning and my glasses prescription updated/renewed. The only medication I am on is Ozempic for weight management, ~8 months,…
Shokz OpenSwim Pro. Waited for years for these to come out. The jump from 4GB -> 32GB sounds great, until I found out that whatever decoder chip they are using doesnt support folders. So you are expected to put 32gb of…

I turn old mini pcs into airplay 2 receivers with https://github.com/mikebrady/shairport-sync , using wired Ethernet multi room playback worked like a charm. Debian is rock solid platform, I never have to tinker once…
I refuse to pay a subscription for a terminal app.
I am curious if any of the termsync options can make neovim play nicely with mosh. My dream setup is to be able to spin up preconfigured dev environments in docker containers, and use blink shell on my iPad for on the…
I use c++ on the daily and find that ccache and an m1/2/3 cpu go a very long way to reducing build times.
Talented developer for sure, but has a knack for developing software that piggy backs of silicon valley giants that can turn off access at a moments notice.
Newer CPUs with performance and efficiency cores require 11 for proper scheduling.
I just switched from 16" 2019 i9 -> 16" M3 pro and 2 weeks later still stunned at how amazing of a machine it is. I do a lot of c++ dev for $dayjob and my current project which took 1m45s to full rebuild on i9 is down…
