Not quite like Google Voice as you can't make phone calls from your computer (Google Voice integrates nicely with Google Talk and you can make phone calls directly from the browser - but only for free Gmail for now)
This makes sense but is not "hacker news". It should not have made it to one of the top news - it's just obvious common sense.
