## How it works: 1. Take a photo with GPS data 2. Email it to submit@mailmap.site with your story 3. Your story appears on an interactive map within seconds 4. Get a unique shareable URL

No app downloads, no registrations required for basic use. Just email → map story.

## Technical details: - Automatically extracts GPS coordinates from image EXIF data - Alternative: registered users can add stories directly on the map (click location + wait 3 seconds) - Real-time processing and map updates - Built for the Postmark Challenge: Inbox Innovators - Supports common image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF) - Community moderation system - Mobile-responsive Google Maps integration

## Why email-first? I wanted to remove friction from sharing location-based stories. Everyone knows how to send an email, but not everyone wants to download another app or create another account. Email is universal.

The platform also supports registered users who can manually add/edit stories directly on the map, but the core experience works entirely through email.
