> When you know you’re going to be downvoted regardless of what you post, it’s easy for your writing to take on a bitter and cynical tone. That said, most of my comments aren’t even like that and still get inexplicable…
I looked through your comment history. You claim got me curious. Most of your downvoted comments (usually one liners) have comments under them (usually paragraphs) disagreeing with you and explaining why. Meanwhile,…

Go to your HN profile and turn on "showdead". This is how the entire internet would now look like.
Conspiracy theory extremism slowly turning into domestic terrorism. It's not a matter of what is real or what isn't. It's a matter of bullying the rest of the population to accept their beliefs as the truth.…

Some context: https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/it-was-inevitable-that-anti... Please do not mistake this comment as antivaxx nonsense, the article linked discredits both the theory and the scientists who started it all.

My gut feeling is everyone coming out of the holidays reading back weeks of notifications.
Overcooking and oversteeping your tea releases extra unwanted tannin. This is what makes the bitter taste. This can be hard on an empty stomach and for people prone to nausea. High presence of tannin lowers the…
Any cooking will decrease it. I have several air sensors and even using the oven will change the air quality from "green" to "yellow". Even just frying veggies with a bit of oil on an electric cooktop sends my air…
Dyslexie explains it well in their about pages, https://www.dyslexiefont.com/en/typeface/ I wish the font was free, but there's always https://opendyslexic.org/
For the Comic lovers, there's also http://comicneue.com/
We did our office Halloween party on https://topia.io/ which is very similar. You get to build your environment using "flash"-like components.
However, if you're only there to exercise your hobby and get paid for it, you may get bored by the other parts of the career. Endless meetings, managing the client, managing the budget, thinking about deadlines,…
> For example, going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy, while unconscious, or even just dreaming, makes it way more appealing to me. Not exactly what you are asking for, but:…
It is ironic that the web industry rejects WordPress as "a blog tool not suited for websites" and the blogger industry rejects it as "a cms tool not suited for blogs".
There's a plugin you can install that brings the classic editor back.
Alright, thanks. My other question was about culture. What is the demographic? Are there a lot of women, gender minorities, etc.? Are things like harassment complaints taken seriously? In short, is it a "locker room"…
> People sometimes discuss tech/business details in front of porn scenes as well because you have to Now I am picturing an open office plan with a porn set one one end of it. Surely the studios are separated from the…
