Amazon is handling the warehousing and shipping for a lot of this stuff, they could xray the shipping box as it goes out, in the event of a dispute, it would be pretty easy to check the scan to see if they shipped…
Agreed, this would also look bad if a caption was just a few chars short of the width causing it to look indented compared to surrounding multiple line captions. Use left, right or centre, not a mishmash.
