This was a great read. We need more books like rust for c++, or rust for Java coders. You already have a good grasp of programming, but learning things like this is never well explained in books that try to learn you…
COLORTERM is also a very weird thing. Most of the time I don't need it to be defined, but when using a screen session it suddenly looks very crappy when COLORTERM is set to truecolor. Removing the env var makes it look…
I recently got a popup in youtube to unlink the accounts, so already on their way.
Tooltips are the worst kind of information providers in a website. First of all you don't know they're there, you actively need to search with your mouse cursor and wait to see something lights up. And then you can only…

It's about this module: https://github.com/a1wong/it87 There is an old version of it in the kernel, which doesn't support newer released versions of that chip. I remember reading somewhere that the maintainer was being…
No idea how to get a comet trail on your cursor, but I did find oneko. Maybe it can help out if you want a cat chasing your cursor: http://www.daidouji.com/oneko/
> Fair enough but what do you recommend? why do you need to have sudo? I'm perfectly fine without it. sudo is maybe useful in the case where others on the system don't need to know the a password to run as someone else…
I found that my receiver was still using 50W while in "CEC-ready standby", while it's only 2W in normal standby, so I never use it. I'll just press a few more buttons.
Exactly this. I was surprised by the ads that they apparently shove down your throat but outraged by the fact that samsung knows what you watch. Most people that have a new TV will probably not even know this, only…
