This looks it's just Java flavored Javascript. Why would we use this over languages that already work such as CoffeeScript, ClojureScript, or even plain Javascript?
While I'd agree that PHP needs a "reboot", I don't think this is the right way to do it.
I disagree, Microsoft seems to be making a "shell" that is completely separate from the traditional desktop while OS X integrates the two together.
