There's no such thing as a room temperature super-conducting magnet. You are talking about "high temperature" magnets, which are YBCO tape magnets. High temperature, in this case, means about -290 degrees F. The next…
Yeah, he's on some kind of messed up head trip, that's for sure. Osaka here.
This article was from almost two years ago when the pandemic wasn't even going properly.
Your contention is that masks don't work, and Japanese people don't wear them? I travel the loop line to and from work during rush hour each day, and yeah, while I don't canvas every single person, to my mind, I don't…
Yeah, this is an example of what I'm talking about. I'll get on the train this morning and ride to work and probably see 100,000 people, none of whom are unmasked or wearing "chin masks". I'll work all day and not see a…
I live in Japan and everyone here wears a mask, but more importantly, wears them properly. Many Japanese people are already attuned to wearing them during flu season, and everyone wears them if they think they are…
Because....because.....well....because THEN I COULDN'T SHILL YOU A CRYPTO TOKEN. There. I said it.
I'm not that au fait with the other cases you mention, but Helium is a straight up scam. No-one uses it for anything at all, even in markets where they have full coverage. This is because, in the real world, companies…
I think that the main problem with this logic is that Bittorrent is a tech designed to illegally distribute a consumer good, ie a movie. Once the movie has made it's final stop, your eyeballs, that's it. It's been…
You should be getting some of them back soon then right?
No, you are correct. You could do it the way you claim. Build in workarounds, try and get everyone to use less efficient tech, try and fix problems of errors and fraud, but I don't think it ever will happen. It's not…
The goal of drugs is to do the drugs. They are consumer goods. You buy them, then consume them. Crypto has no value unless you can sell it on to someone else, and that's it's ONLY value. That is the glaring difference,…
The problem with this sort of reasoning is that it conflates an e.mail or a downloaded movie (or a bag of cocaine) with a cryptocurrency or token. E.mails/movies/dope etc are all basically consumer goods. Read the…
1: I understand perfectly how they work. I'll say it again. It's YOU who seem to have a hazy understanding of the real world and the tech you think is so great. Universities have public facing databases where someone…
As a crypto-punk owner myself, I feel that that NFTs are the future. Look at this baby. 250k. https://openpuddle.io/?id=328wfloxyf
That's your example? A sword in a video game? Honestly though, I guess it makes sense, because NFTs are arse for anything that has actual real life meaning. Even you, yourself, realised that halfway through your post.…
Ahhhh.....you seem pretty certain of yourself, don't you?
Number go up. And so I can flex online. Do you see how much that bad boy costs?
This is really dumb sorry. Just one great big "waddabout" going on and on about problems OTHER tech has, and not addressing my question at all. I'll ask again. The University sends your medical degree to someone with…
That's not a solution. Most places have computerised land records, and maybe they aren't so great, but that is an argument for a new modern database, not a worse one (blockchain).
I own a cryptopunk NFT. https://openpuddle.io/?id=328wfloxyf I'm happy to answer any questions about it that you may have.
I'm not an expert on the technology, but I've seen this same argument from friends of mine who are into a blockchain they claim will allow people to carry their Universities degrees / Academic qualifications with them.…
