Noted. My workaround is using a randomly generated mailbox address with aliases and identities on top. But yeah, I can't imagine a solution other than Proton/Tuta's way of locked down clients and bridges.
Ah, that. I keep my actual mailbox address secret and use identities to communicate and aliases for various accounts' emails as a protection against credential stuffing. What host are you using?
Migadu does support 2FA for both admin/management account logins and webmail.

fwknop's default is to run as root, so there's that. Support for separation of privileges is still pending since 2013 (https://github.com/mrash/fwknop/issues/32)
