Flashing back to the stock rom/kernel in Samsung phones takes about 10 minutes with a tool called odin.

She’s pretty tech savvy –uses Gmail, has a Tumblr, does most of her emailing on an iPad That is all it takes to be called tech savvy these days?

Just got back from Austin City Limits and even SMS was suffering the entire time. I never got data, not once.
Samsung Captivate here. Took 30 seconds to root it and another 10 seconds to remove the AT&T bloatware with Titanium Backup.
