Gee, if only Facebook weren't a massive government backdoor into our lives. I mean yeah, the stuff we publish on Facebook is public anyway, but that's the tip of the iceberg.

Beneath the surface of all the yelling is the direct messages, the searches, browsing, lingering, staring, geolocation and accelerometer data. If Facebook were simply an ordinary mirror with which we could see ourselves, I'd be fine with that. But it's a one way mirror, and on the other side are people with intentions beyond advertising, beyond conventional suspicion.
