They might get nailed in the US but I don’t think Malaysia is going to see any of that 7.5B they are asking for.
GS already has a rotten reputation. I don’t think they care. As for the executives, they will probably hide behind limited liability. Getting the US to hand them over will not be easy.
Citation needed. A decade in prison is twice 5 years. That’s a lot of time to waste. Edit: Guess downvotes are abused here too ... Edit2: Would be interesting to see how low this post will go. Guess some people don’t…
They are prosecuting the company though, not the staff. If GS refuses to pay, the best they can do is ban them from the country. What else can they do, seriously?
Why would you not believe that? Changing phones isn’t a big deal when upgrading. Guess the iPhone X’s full screen design was a hit - seen quite a few people on the train here with them; I’m quite surprised given the…
I take it GS will just walk away. It might not be worth to pay that much to operate in Malaysia. Not to mention, people could just start a separate company if they absolutely need to do business in Malaysia.
Just 5 years? I suppose it’s good from a rehabilitation perspective but it’s kind of weak as a deterrent - where 10 years might be more appropriate.
It works until the gravy train stops then you have a problem. Democracy has many problems but it’s fairly robust vs discontent. Got a problem? Try to vote out the people you believe caused it. It keeps violent…

I always just assume they mean expressive power when “power” is mentioned.
There is also the upgrade to MS Paint to Paint 3D. I tried to like it ... it isn’t horrible but it hasn’t exactly grown on me either. Lots of (to me) useless features clogging up the UI. Can’t remember where various…
Why would they need to test that? Apple has already done it for them.
Not from revolt though but from succession issues.
I think Conan, with his current show, has more freedom to let his guest go off script which helps with the spontaneity. Fallon and Colbert are pretty controlled probably due to their mainstream audience - and…
If there is legally sized property ... what else are they going to do with it?
There are many forms of “assimilation” ... One form invoked killing all military age males then selling of the woman and children as slaves scattering them. Pretty common back in the day from what I read. Very low…
