No, it is troll-like behaviour. It is not a legitimate question if the intent of the comment is to deny the claims of the effectiveness of Russian interference, which is nonsense. It is impossible to know the full…
Alright settle down, Vladimir. The point of advertising is to change people's behaviours and opinions. The entire purpose of the content is to modify behaviour. Cynics and trolls may think it doesn't have a…
I misremembered his comment on iPhone prices. He just said that they are undervalued relative to their utility. I thought he made a comment that Apple should look to increase iPhone prices, which, as he admits, would be…
I am not an active investor. I do not claim to know as much as someone like WB. However, what you have just explained is all pretty obvious. To buy Apple's explanation that most of their disappointing quarterly earnings…
While you are right, I think the parent's idea if that with a large enough sample, even if every actor is making decisions randomly, you will get actors that will just crush it. I mean Warren Buffet invested in Apple…
I agree with you that it is not a particularly polished article. However, you were basically saying that rents would decrease as a result of market forces, which is not really true as property markets can't react fast…
Easy, it is a two-fold problem. First, if housing prices growing at a faster rate than wages then less people can afford buying and must keep renting. This means that the amount of people seeking rentals keeps getting…

If you look at it through the lens of opportunity cost, sure. But homes don't actually yield anything, they are not productive in that sense. So from the economy's standpoint, there seems little reason to classify it as…
I wouldn't say it is a problem on its own. Look at Japan. Almost everything being in Tokyo is not a problem because their transport system is excellent. The UK's problem is that transport policy is abysmally backward…
I have no idea what 'should the people serve the nation' means. Sounds like you wrote something that sounded cool but completely forgot that phrases should actually mean something. In a representative democracy, the…
No, the financial industry has close to nothing to do with affordability in London. The main causes are the UK's cultural obsession with owning property, speculative property buying, and regulations put in place across…
Most of that list is about relocating operations/funds outside the UK or cancelling plans to move them to the UK, and the title reflects that.
Neither your tone or attitude were an issue. I just wanted to note that the idea that there is absolutely no way out of this mess is too negative a view, in my opinion. Until we reach the point of no return, people need…
I think his point was that individual actors do not want to hinder their prosperity at the cost of the planet. The looming threat of extinction is not something a business or a 3rd world farmer takes into account when…
As you hinted in your edit, you are describing the essence of a collection action problem. Ultimately, we measure the success of our capitalist economies in total receipts, and optimise accordingly. Our markets (and our…
