copilot.lua, CodeCompanion when I want in-editor agents (hooked up to OpenCode), OpenCode web for most everything else. Neovim works fine in OpenCode web's terminal too.
One more ~~lane~~ layer of LLMs is sure to solve all our problems
Still not sure if the alternative of vendoring like Shadcn, where a migration like this requires a black box probability machine to do the migration for you is any better.
Compulsion Games was also a strange acquisition / team to decide to put $100M + 7 years of trust into. They had two games by that point, neither with amazing reviews.
Kudos to whoever put this in the response, honestly what a fun idea.
MUI v5 absolutely supported React 17 though. Unless you're thinking of React 16, which hadn't had updates for almost a year when MUI v5 released.
MUI release codemods for their major version bumps to ease the migration. Those and TypeScript take out most of the issues with upgrading. There were a couple of rough migrations though.
I worked for a startup in Canada, with Dutch founders, and operations in France and California. That meme about how different countries treat out-of-office is very accurate.
I hear you, but only 2 of those things require JavaScript.
I really feel like this genre of comment should fall under this "don't" from the HN guidelines: > Please don't complain about tangential annoyances—e.g. article or website formats, name collisions, or back-button…
I use Searxng through Onyx, both as regular search and Onyx's Deep Research mode. I also have https://github.com/ihor-sokoliuk/mcp-searxng to add search to coding agents. Haven't really had many issues with it.
I absolutely hate WYSIWYG editors, they're more "what you get is what I deem possible, through much frustration on your end in trying to tidy things up". Slack on mobile is particularly bad. Didn't get very far with…
All those APIs at that point were marked as experimental, and this is the place where things were ironed out. Churn should be expected when using an experimental API.
I switched to Jest from Mocha and my memory is that Mocha was much faster.
The major change through all of those was solidifying Vite's concepts of "environments" for better SSR support. If you weren't using that, there wasn't much instability. Surely lacking features also creates demand for…
Echoing another person, but we did all those major version migrations without any breakage / churn. What were the breaks you ran into?
Should mention today Sony also announced the end of physical releases for their consoles, and the closure of the PS3 and PSVita stores.
Have checked out Paseo, not sure what it offers over opencode web though. Definitely seems great if you're using other harnesses, but it seems like all it has over opencode web is split views and native apps. Neither of…
You can also just add OpenCode web as a PWA, if that's what you mean by "frame". I'm gonna check out paseo, but am not looking forward to all the ram the agent needs + all the ram paseo needs
OpenCode web?
Numbers in a monospaced font, headings in an italics serif font, blue / purple / green / lots of glow, are some of the patterns I've noticed
FWIW due to the other quirks of streaming me and other people have mentioned I too have switched to a very long HDMI cable + Ethernet usb hub
Nah it's still a dance to get the TV input switched that's a good point.
Not really looking to spend another $150 while losing a headphone jack, adaptive triggers, and microphone tho. My point is, streaming introduces compromises, while I chose PC gaming to avoid a lot of compromises.
You're not wrong but those aren't insurmountable. Of course the Steam Box is a better experience, but I built a remote starter for my PC and a dumb little Go program to switch the displays and disable some devices. End…
