Well at least in Germany they are a thing - a quick google search says there's a population of >1 million raccoons in Germany.
That's in the normal range of accuracy of modern CO2 sensors, for example SCD40 from Sensirion is described with an accuracy of ±50.0 ppm ±5.0 %m.v.
I'm a noob when it comes to DBs, but stumbled upon using InfluxDB with Home Assistant - would you say that's a solid choice, or are there better alternatives out there?
Well with the DIY route that's not a problem - nkon.nl is shipping to France as well, I guess? So there you can get EVE 280 Ah cells for about 100 €/kWh: https://www.nkon.nl/fr/rechargeable/lifepo4/prismatisch/eve-...
From that page: Pylontech 5 kWh for 1198€ - so 250€/kWh is also possible :-)
Yeah I think if you want to order from CATL directly, your chances for a reply are better if your order is worth some billions :-) EVE cells are very famous in the DIY scene, you can get them via Alibaba/Aliexpress, or…

The video footage of suicide drones you can find on r/combatfootage is nearly always from custom drones, the giveaway is the analog video transmission. As the poster before said, DJI drones are only used for…
Huh, interesting, I always think of the Macbooks from the 2007-2011 era to be the best in terms of hardware regarding the reliability - if you look up the major Macbook recalls and problems, they all begin after that…
Well it depends where you live, if you happen to live in Germany (I guess they ship to the EU as well), there are quite a few on stock right now at BerryBase, according to rpilocator.com
I guess the RPi Zero W would suit your needs a lot better, and it seems to be in stock in some shops. The Pico doesn't run Linux so cron jobs aren't possible.
Just did a quick search for JTAG debuggers on Aliexpress, and the majority seem to be clones of Segger J-Links, so yeah... it's easy to produce the (simple) hardware and sell for cheap if you just steal the software,…
Yeah it's pretty easy now to build USB HID gadgets with various boards from Sparkfun/Adafruit/Arduino... even the small Digispark board based on the ATtiny85 can act as an (emulated) USB HID device :-)
If you're a (non-commercial) hobbyist/student, there's the official Segger J-Link EDU Debug Probe for 50€, same functionality as the J-Link BASE.
Maybe you're thinking of the concept of multiple discovery: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_discovery
Oh that's some nice info, with their low price point (around 0.25$ for the low-end ones) the GreenPAK devices appeared to me like a gamechanger in the making. I hope they gain more traction in the future.
That's true, but I guess it will take some years until manufacturers leave behind the proven line-up of cheap mikrocontrollers like the TI MSP430. They're so ubiquitous in these applications, TI even provides a Electric…
Sorry, but I think you got this wrong, there's (currently) no transponder on DJI drones that enables remote tracking for them. In the future (2023?), FAA Remote ID will be mandatory, but even then, this is only a short…
This seems like a good use case for LoRa wireless modules, I haven't used them personally, but they claim a range of 10 miles without obstacles. Try searching for "LoRaWAN Door Bell" if you want off-the-shelf products,…
If you've got the money, I'd suggest Original Prusa, since I got one I've never used my Creality CR-10 again. Even though the CR-10 isn't a bad printer at all, the Prusa provides the overall better experience. :-)
