I agree. I wish school would have merged things like space and programming. I would have been really into it.
My team tried it out at the beginning of Covid. It performed really bad for me. I've heard it's better now, but that experience really turned me off to it.
In my experience, the business users that are supposed to use the “no code” platforms give up and it goes back to the IT department to use.
VSCode is 100% free. IntelliJ has a free and enterprise license. I could download the free one, but I feel like I'm missing out on features and would rather go with the option that has everything free. Then I don't have…
My wife started selling stuff on Marketplace for fun and it's basically become a side business for her. It's crazy how successful it's become.

The LC-3 was part of my computer architecture course in my CS program over a decade ago. Glad to see it’s still being used.
GameWinners.com. Great source for video game cheats. But the best part for me was the chat room. I would say crazy things to people. Good times. Also GeoCities. I wouldn't gone into web development without it.
Is ACM membership useful for just typical developers not in research or grad school?
This looks really neat. What homebrew computer kits do all of you recommend for someone that has never done this before? I would like to build a computer and program on it. I've done web dev only.
I feel the same way. It's probably because I'm 90s kid and nostalgia, but I wish web standards were taken seriously.
