IMHO Reddit version feels better. It has both the hour as well as day sliders and multiple controls for the same.

Nice layout. I do want to point out a lot of text on the home page are images. "Join Buddify" "See 5 great reasons ..." "Cool people on ....". They can be replaced with texts and themed with CSS
