39 Days Ago, the Cataclysm came. Most people were pretty cool with it. Some of them invited it for dinner. Some even have pictures of them with it in pubs with it, enjoying the game and having an all around good time. No, it was when the Cataclysm left that things started going downhill.
Just literally had this happen to me with our HR/Accounting Department, with a subtitle of "We want to understand what you do around here." Visons of Office Space are dancing in my head.
Fellow bass player here too, though I'm still learning! Just out of curiosity, did you ever listen to the Vapor Trails remaster that came out last year or so? What were your thoughts on that?
It's Bandai Namco that has the actual patent, but what's really interesting is the fact that it is is set to expire in November of this year. Since installs have become so prevalent in console games, I would love to see…
Agreed fully! Now, if only this simulation did more with the "Wall of Death" and circle pits you see at most thrash metal shows.
It's pretty easy to do! I've had one for a while, but I just now got to sit down and play with it for a bit. The RetroPie script makes things very simple, though you'll probably want to play with overclock settings for…
I keep meaning to go to some of the local user group meetings. Things keep getting in the way and I keep making excuses. Perhaps I'll do so this this month!
What steverb is pretty accurate here. I myself currently work in a .NET position. Most places around here, particularly healthcare companies, look for people familiar with .NET Framework. If you're doing web…
I live in Knoxville and while I love living here, finding tech positions at decent pay is difficult. The cost of living is lower and many firms here take advantage of that to an insulting degree. I can imagine it being…
What I don't like about the article is how he goes into how "great" or "stunning" and "amazing" it all is without, like you said, any details. I can understand if there are limited things that can be said at this time,…
What I find weird is that the DRM mentioned for Capcom's games applies only to the PS3 versions, as far as I am aware (At least it is with Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Final Fight Arcade.) The 360 version has none of…
Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle". Always worth reading through again.
An interesting idea, though I have the problem of being in a rural area in Western NC. Thus, my experience with the site is going to be limited. However, the next county over is Asheville, which would have a greater…
If I recall, the only time I've ever been frustrated in that came is when someone kills and/or revives Hitler for the fortieth time. Still, I need to get that out again. Been a long time since I last played it.
I don't know. I saw Coraline in the theaters in 3D and am pretty sure I would of liked it just as much in the 2D-Glasses. As for the dorky black glasses, I just like pretending I'm Buddy Holly while walking around the…
Darn. And I had all my money on Windows EX Hyper Fighting Alpha: The New Challengers Turbo.
Having lived in the south (Tennessee and North Carolina) most of my life, I haven't heard that one. I can believe is coming from a heavy southern accent sounding like "dope" instead, though. People are strange,…
Congratulations! You have no idea how much I envy you right now. Even with the hardships that will come, you will be free. Free! I'm currently in the middle of saving up my own money and though I still have a ways to…
Oh, man. I did just that very idea, only I substituted "War Games" because I couldn't find a copy of Hackers around. Worked just as well. :D
I don't think your effort's in vain. If you like it, keep at it. When you feel confident in your knowledge on the language, you can then choose to move on and experiment with other things. Same for any language, really.…
