I think perhaps you are looking for reddit.
Also a bit confused as to why this is currently the #1 post.
Incredible as usual. Like a visit to a science museum. Wikipedia should commission this guy to explain all the things in this intuitive, interactive, visual way.
> I also believe the new trains can accelerate faster so new stops are potentially possible. Is accelerating faster a practical solution though, considering how many people are standing?
I'm still using a i5 2500k in my desktop PC, and it's still performing adequately. 12 years old!
There's a Newark in England.
That's proper CO2 sensor then. The cheap ones are estimating CO2 levels from VOC levels.
Well price is no guarantee. Try the hand sanitiser test I detailed above.
Second this. It's possible that the 3000 reading is triggered by something else. They should try rubbing sanitiser on their hands and then holding the device - if it goes crazy then it's not directly sensing CO2.
Hyundai Ioniq?
I agree. I think the fact that tesla started with the roadster was a genius move - proving that electric cars can be far superior in performance compared to ICE. Everyone else in the space was going for boring…
That's true. The Ioniq for example looks so different in each iteration.
> Sadly it doesn't wanna be more specific Typical frustrating GTP :) That's an interesting response from it, but I would not trust gpt at all to make this kind of estimation - it will only regurgitate permutations of…
Well, I hope you are wrong :) I imagine that most transformers etc are somewhat over-engineered. I mean, they get destroyed by things like lightening strikes, but are we talking about the same energy levels? I really…
Right, there has been no production yet. Last I heard they will start shipping Q3 this year (but I doubt it).
> Even if the decision to buy was made after too much wine, he's had plenty of time to sober up since then Well if he has bad habits, like a lot of us do, then its not just a matter of sobering up like it's a one time…
Excuse me - what do you mean by my "repetition" of this? I've only expressed this view today, in response to this thread. I'm also not familiar with the term “wrap-up smear" - perhaps I am guilty of that, could you…
Yeah I think that's a stretch. Likely there would be deaths from hospitals not having power etc. but I can't imagine it being at that scale. Secondary effects from the economic fallout might be worse. This kind of…
It seems to me that he's quite mindful of the possibility of failure - he's often quoted as saying that gambled everything on telsa, but only estimated a 10% chance of success (who knows if he really believed that at…
Well it's a very hypothetical black swan type situation. I don't think it's a sensible use of resources to prepare for a badly understood phenomenon with uncertain probability. If and when it happens things will get…
I think it will impact both - surely a lot of the potential repeat purchases are from people that had ethical motivations to buy an electric car - they probably wont give up on electric, but there are a number of good…
I agree in general, but what about the cybertruck? Probably the most radical design of a production car in a long time.
That's an interesting take on the situation. I find it hard to believe though - for one thing it would be a huge risk to reorientate your brand like that, and also the designs for their pickups are not exactly…
Was going to say this too. Compared to 40 years ago, car designs are not very diverse. I suppose because there is an optimal aerodynamic shape for each class of car, and we are converging on that.
Maybe look at material about EMP weapon effects, I imagine it's probably the same kind of risks. I think solar flare risk is overblown though.
