I don't have any tips to add here other than I feel you and I have dealt with similar feelings when I was doing my uni degree (I haven't done a thesis or something similar mainly because I hate writing long form stuff!)…
I use my old iPad as an ereader. I don't have any fancy setup, just sync books onto it either using iTunes or download directly from libgen or zlibrary. Works well enough for me :)
Damn, that's where diversity initiatives become too much for me. Hiring people for the sake of diversity only perpetuates negative stereotypes about women in tech.
