I'm a third year vet student who does not want to be a veterinarian. I am afraid of failure and risk-taking, and flirt with the idea of cheating quite often. I also get by on tearing others down. I frequently wonder if it is possible to be a person you want to be, if that is different from who you currently are.
As you can see, my profile was heavily influenced by the NY Mag article posted on HN-- http://nymag.com/news/features/27840/.
So, maybe my first 5 minutes on Hacker News will have changed my life, but only time will tell. Time to address some deep-seated problems.
Just a reminder in the future to delete the number from these posts, to remove the "appeal to lists" factor-- as per the site guidelines-- so that it becomes "Signs that your code sucks" as opposed to an amusing list.
