I have made extensions and this review process is a total pain, but remember that mozilla is a volunteer based project and they seem to need help on that aspect, maybe they should invite people to join their reviewer…
I just checked and they have no data for this year sadly :-( but they did used it for 2 years, I don't work for the ministry but I did worked for the NGO that made it so I don't know how well did they use it.
