The MEGA65 has dual SD card slots as well as the floppy drive.
The first 400 sold out within 8 or 10 hours. Less than 900 in the second larger batch remain available at last check.
A small ARM cannot emulate the MEGA65's 40MHz CPU or 81MHz pixel-clock VIC-IV video controller, unfortunately.
You're quite correct that this is an oversight of ours. I thought Trenz had already put the schematics etc on their website as they are manufacturing the PCBs and selling the units for us (we are currently between the…
Yes, it would be quite possible to make a core for that. You are welcome to pitch in and help write one :)
While the final machines are not yet purchasable, you can buy an off-the-shelf Artix7/Nexys4DDR FPGA development board and run the core on that. This has been supported for several years. Also with 100 devkit machines…
... also, if anyone is interested in helping us with maintaining the website, that would be very welcome.
One of the other things we have been doing with Serval in the Mesh Extender devices is making it possible to connect external radios, including HF radios from Codan and Barrett, for really long range inter-cluster…
Yes, we know we need to fix the website and app store. This is the pain of depending on grants to get work done :/ Getting the app back up on Play Store is our current priority.
Howdy, as the founder of the Serval Mesh adhoc networking protocols and hardware, what I would look for in a new radio is: 1. True packet radio mode, that doesn't hide the radioness of the link etc, but lets the…
