Unfortunately, some services won’t accept a Google Voice or any voip number.
Apple’s iCloud Accounts are the same now. They now require a phone number for new accounts and there is no way to remove the number.
Does anyone know if issues like this would only affect the current user account? I currently have a separate limited user account just for meetings, and that’s where I install various meeting apps. So in my case is…
I don’t think they will, but as a security concern, maybe have receiving content set to “Contacts Only” by default.
Not dangerous at all. The cops will not arrest you if you are using it.
