I think the FCC should get involved and ask the simple question of why can't ISP's use Netflix open connect .. as it seems that would fix a ton of problems the ISP are having with netflix incoming traffic.
ISPs can directly connect their networks to Open Connect for free. ISPs can do this either by free peering with us at common Internet exchanges, or can save even more transit costs by putting our free storage appliances…
Hopefully this takes us one step closer to Netflix on Linux
