I used to do software things, then I did some hardware things, and then I did some mathy/finance things, then I did some enterprise things, now I do a bit of anything that is interesting. I like to be the dumbest person in the room, because osmosis is a particularly effective way to learn. Losing at chess is fun but only if I can retrospectively analyze why I lost. I enjoy quotes like "God made the integers, all the rest is the work of Man" and IAS lectures.
