I don't use Stripe but my understanding is that it has dominance in its space. What are the competitors? BrainTree? Google Pay? Why haven't those services eaten Stripes lunch?
I was never "gifted" but I went down this exact route. I did great in high school and then poorly in college even though I feel like I understood all the material.
Also interested in the doing the same thing if anyone else wants to collaborate.
Microservices can be used to logically separate different parts of the program. It also means that the same service could be used for different projects. I don't see why a single developer shouldn't use them
