It sounds like a quite complicated, risky and expensive job to do just out of greed without any idea what to do with the stolen goods.
Because other humans pay money for this. And we're probably not that far away from Health Insurance Companies using your toothbrush's data to calculate your rates.

With Chromium based browsers you should be able to set every website to be muted at first. You'll only see a mute symbol on the tab when the tab tries to play sound. If there is no sound at all, there shouldn't be an…

They'll tell you who pays for the connection. They can't reliably tell you who uses it. Maybe it was a family member, roommate or anybody who knows the wifi password.

For me, it's not about precision. With the Trackpoint I can rest my hands on the Keyboard/Homerow and I can use the pointer without having to move my hands at all.
