I'm a big fan of Parachute Backup for this purpose. https://parachuteapps.com/parachute
Cartoonishly villainous.
I’m a big fan of the “Reduce Interruptions” focus mode.
I use SocialFocus for iOS/macOS to block recommended videos, etc. It’s incredibly useful.
Will this kill extensions like Vinegar for Safari?
I use Bevel for this. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bevel-health-performance/id645...
Any plans to release an Apple Watch app? That’s my one requirement for a 2FA app.
Ente looks nice, but lacks Apple Watch support. Sticking with 2FAS for now.
The MoccaMaster has a half-carafe setting that is basically just a lower hotplate temperature and it works well for me.
I don’t think we can call 4-5k IU’s of D3 a day ‘megadosing.’ megadosing is more like 50-100k at a time.
The Apple Watch measured HRV when using the Breathe function in the Mindfulness app. Apps like Health, Training Today, and HRV Tracker can help visualize these readings.
This is why I love my Apple Watch. Haptic vibrations are really handy!
Do you both use iPhones? FaceTime Audio has helped me and my family with regard to crappy audio fidelity. I struggle with “normal” phone calls now, lol.
Have everyone set their phone in a big bowl by the door!
Mhmm. Talking about pockets when smartwatches exist for this exact reason is so archaic.
My favorite feature of Infuse is how it clears the Metadata cache every single time I launch the app. Takes about 30-45 seconds for it to show all of my media again. Even with plenty of storage space on my ATV4K.
Fwiw, you can remove the nagging with a free Safari extension for iOS called Sink It: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6449873635
I can’t access any other form of Reddit using mobileSafari. It’s bizarre, and probably intentional.
Would love to know why mine needs to be forgotten and re-paired to my Nvidia Shield every time I use it now.
Same. Just don't give apps all of the permissions. TikTok doesn't have access to my camera, photo library, microphone, local network, location, etc. It's not that hard.
Honest question: how many of your friends are still on Facebook? I remember it being wildly popular when I was in college, but since then, I think that only two of my friends still have accounts.
Pontypool. Pontypool. Pontypool.
I'm a big fan of the FBPurity browser extension for disabling shared links/posts. https://www.fbpurity.com/
Facebook created "Facebook Events," later renamed "Facebook Local" for iOS and Android. And nobody I know has ever heard of it. https://www.facebook.com/local
Safari. Everything else is just a mobileSafari wrapper, so it seems redundant using anything else unless you have all your passwords tied up in something proprietary.
