I unlocked the Redshift handheld video game system; became obsessed and made a video player ( https://www.reddit.com/r/exapunks/comments/tzv1m5/redshift_v... ) among other things. So fun! I should progress past Redshift.
Cool work, thanks for sharing! I saw briefly in the video https://youtu.be/QlfCfkzkBB4?si=xkuPS0Dj9Z9hnjAP&t=57 that you were using 3d renderings of eyes for training? Did you find a rigged eye like that, or make it? So…
I like the progressive example toys. Thanks!
I’ve done the same with a q3 and virtual desktop for a few weeks and hours at a time when I didn’t have a good monitor. I could run a 4k screen after tweaking the settings a bit. (And using a dummy hdmi plug so an…
I didn’t have to disable mobile mode to move my fingers over the browser navigation from the app and still control the puck. It’s very replaceable. I like the statistics. Perhaps one that shows a histogram over all…
Very fun! Works great on iPhone. Neat that I can stop by just lifting my finger to take a breather. Fun multipliers! More to discover!
Nice. I’m similarly spoiled for choice now. Past workplace: 1. Swiss Miss Hot chocolate mix 2. Starlight Peppermint Mints 3. Lemonade 4. Peanut butter For variety, I tried many combinations. Some: 1+3: bad, 1+2, 2+3:…
(Hmm... A qr code to an audio stream? Could be a fun challenge to get it to sync reliably.)
Nice! Does-this/can-this handle interlacing? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlaced_video (Half vertical resolution, offset a bit every other frame)
OP's relationship story sounds so familiar to me. [Insert TMI story.] Cycle of abuse: https://psychcentral.com/health/cycle-of-abuse Fortunately, it ended ok. I healed for over a year before dating again, and dated…
Occlusion could be done with head tracking for one observer (not both eyes though); but defeats the point. I'm guessing AR glasses will work for much of this.
I was thinking shooting the piece into a basket or something, but aiming for the player's forehead sounds fun.
Cool project! Could a hefty reverse magnetic pulse launch captured pieces off the board? And maybe with some precision by controlling the offset and power?
Neat, I played with 360 equirectangular projection gen for a gamejam last year. It has some interesting possibilities and challenges. I started to image segment objects then generative infill to replace the background…
Reminds of an early tank simulator where the driver in the cockpit saw a video feed from a camera on a gantry they were slowly driving around a diarama. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AcQifPHcMLE "Real engine" for just…
Consider meshroom, nerfstudio, (search alternatives too) ffmpeg to split to frames.

This is neat, but yeah, another fun challenge: have it build a letter/word/pixel art from random pieces, the best it can.
Wadsworth constant. (Older Reddit meme) Skip (30%) to the good part!
Animation tools have a ton of room for improvement, that they're working on. ...and the move to Vulcan will help a ton it looks like.
I just found this by searching. I think something like that would be useful. someone else did reply: > mkrishnan 12 days ago [dead] [–] > Great idea. > But get ready for tons of law suits.... Also, just asked gpt4 in…
Yeah, I remember noticing Google doing A/B tests on the color of links. A/B test everything! Few may die-- more may live in the long run. (If that's what you're trying to optimize.)
Very cool project, surprised it's possible. Thanks for sharing the youtube vid on it too. (Perhaps the 3d view could use another shade of grey or two using the other colors or characters?)
