Engineer at Cue here. We haven't been able to reliably reproduce the problem and haven't found much about it online. I've filed a bug report here if you'd like to add your two cents:…
Engineer at Cue here. This was a team decision. There was no mandate from on high - we're not abused. It was time to ship, so we made it happen.
I'm not. There's lots of us. I'm planning on getting together and having a Mad Max style Thunderdome throw down at some point to get this all worked out. I'm the Kevin Clark from Powerset (and subsequently Bing).
This has been one of our most requested features. It is definitely something that will happen, but I can't comment on timeframe. When the iCal support ships, I expect you can use that to keep us sync'd even before we…
Engineer at Cue here. The product that was previously called Greplin is a subset of Cue. The search functionality is not going away. We have no plans to get rid of it. It isn't an edge case, or legacy functionality -…

(Also posted on the original thread:) I think some of the comments about simpler syntax (moving from Java to Python, for example) are in the right direction, but not far enough down the path. I think the fundamental…
For GMail, our syncers hang out on an IDLE'd IMAP connection and process (and then index) whenever a new message comes in. Edit: So, to clarify, it's used to trigger an update to the index. Hopefully this happens as…
