It's wierd because the barrier to not have that in is so low, you can just tack on 'talk like me not AI, dont use em dashes, don't use formulaic structures, be concice' and itll get rid of half of those signals.
I don't mean that people say Hi, or goodbye, or niceties like that. I'm talking about people that say things like "just fucking do it" or "that's wrong you idiot try again'.
I don't think I implied that there should be. What I mean is, for me to talk/type considerably differently to an LLM would take more mental effort than just talking how I normally talk, whereas some people seem to put…
I am! But seriously, I've seen some conversations of how people talk to LLMs and it seems kinda insane how people choose to talk when there are no consequences. Is that how they always want to talk to people but know…
I talk politely to LLMs because I talk politely.
Yeah they looked like they were wobbling while I read them until I focused on them more.
I'm on some anti rejection meds post-transplant and chatgptd some of my symptoms and it said they were most likely caused by my meds. Two different nephrologists told me that the meds I'm on didn't cause those symptoms…
I can't deal with having more than ~5 permananent tabs and 5 temporary open tabs. if i have so many tabs open i cant read what they are I know something has gone wrong with what I'm trying to do, so I try and reset.
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't. Valve don't want to sell hardware, they want to sell games. They only make hardware as flagships for new markets, then they want other hardware manufacturers to take over. the…

I feel like when I talk to someone and they tell me a fact, that fact goes into a kind of holding space, where I apply a filter of 'who is this person that is telling me this thing to know what the thing they are…
I spent a year in a bunch of airbnbs and every time there was an induction hob it had at least one of these issues. I really like them otherwise but the buttons are just so bad.
I'm not sure its binary, I feel like ive gotten worse at it with age, and for some reason I find it harder with my head sideways.
If you think about something famous, like the Eiffel tower, or big ben, you don't picture them?
It's more like it's in a different plane, you can see it but it's from another source, like how I can hear things but it doesn't effect my site. If I imagine a candle I "see" a candle in front of a black background,…
When you read this do you hear it in your head?
It's like hearing a song in your head, you can listen to it and maybe keep time roughly but if someone asks you what instruments there are you might not be able to get all of them, or might not remember the drums or the…
I worked in a medium data center and there was no noise outside, no noise from the office in the same building, no noise outside the airlock, very loud inside. Maybe huge datacenters are very different somehow?
Surface level is where you can find the most day to day value. Just today I've used it to get advice about putting up a treehouse, rough price ranges and differences between fridges, common fridge widths, adding second…
