doesn't waydroid already do this? is that how sailfish does it?
I'm using Graphene but honestly the biggest thing is that Lineage devs wouldn't care if you root, while Graphene devs obviously do because it screws the whole point of Graphene
No, its a hyphen you used. - vs – vs — (hyphen, en, em). Most android keyboards make typing the em dash easy, and there are plenty of ways to set it up on desktop
Only after, not before.
Espanso can be set up to make it easier, along with Powertoys on Windows and alt+shift+dash on the mac keyboard layout
I set up espanso to replace -= with the em dash when I type because I like its aesthetic. I used to use the compose key, and on Windows I'd had an AHK shortcut for it. On Android GBoard has the em dash as an option…
but that looks worse, it's horrible. i have espanso set up to quick replace "-=" with — on desktop and on my phone i use futo keyboard, which has the aesthetically inspring em dash one hold and swipe on the h key away.
I think they did fix Linux support intentionally for Linux users iirc
Mostly agree but Firefox does not have the best Android extensions. Kiwi thrashes Firefox and Iceraven is better too with support for custom ones
I disagree. For me, it's superior.
GNOME is better than macos imo
I think you can remove it by disabling play protect, no?
Linux-dedicated hardware is growing so I do think this will be avoidable. They might not be on ARM but they will likely still be sold and exist (unlike with mobile where say a Linux phone is unusable).
Brave is homophobic (to slightly oversimplify). Why not Vivaldi?
There's no PM function on HN, but I'm interested.
But they are going after google maps. There's a beta "Kagi maps" on their maps tab
I'n a proud adblock user but that makes no sense. High quality video storage & streaming is costly.
Smarttube fir Android TV?
Piped & Libretube here, Lighttube also has awesome UI
This. I'm on EndeavorOS on crappy hardware as my only device, and I daily drive Firefox, but sometimes, Firefox simply doesn't load a website (i.e. coveragemap), and for this reason I have Chromium on the device in…
…use Librewolf, then?
Invidious and piped do not require an ad blocker and do not use an ad blocker
I guess something could detect if the frame shown is a frame from the video and if not skip
It's been explicitly highlighted to me before that the calendar in the French Revolution is called the French Republican Clendar and not the French Revolutionary Calendar, so I'd assum the same is true and it would be…
That's the point of stuff like alt dragging or super dragging
