I think they're talking about asymmetric crypto, not symmetric crypto, which is somewhat quantum resistant (or they can just double the length).

Probably mentioned earlier but I'd recommend Gatsby if you're just looking for a simple static site. Though, we switched over to Next recently to take advantage of SSR.
