Some industrial equipment requires flash or Java for the web based configuration UI. Even Ethernet switches It’s a huge pain to find the right version of browser, Java, flash, to be able to change a setting

Only if all taxpayers get an equal settlement. And even then perhaps that money would have been spent on another group: “sorry no fighter jets this year money went privacy lawsuits”. So some taxpayers could come out…
