4.8ghz quad core, 8gb ram, gtx 580. Firefox is consistently slower on my machine sadly (I've also got 3 script blockers/whitelists in chrome with tons of extensions and still outperforms.)
I run, lift, and do heavy Colorado trails at high heartrate levels. I find exercise makes it generally more difficult to sleep. Has been a problem for years, only get real sleep on my rest days.

That was my interpretation, and the article talks about ego death. When one removes ego, it mimics "zen mind, beginner's mind" where you are more open to more ideas. In theory.

Two of those are test files. Nothing wrong with more tests, and they seem descriptive to me. And it's a very easily testable framework, unlike some of the others in the thread.
After 7 years of setting up ruby servers, I can't say it's ever made me homicidal. RVM and rbenv on multiple different distributions have generally all been fine. What did your distro/environment look like?
