Here's some boring work details.
I tend to make software. Used to work for Google as a software engineer. Most notably, in my spare time, I started Google Reader. It only became a real product thanks to the care and effort that came from a great group of dedicated people that are much smarter than myself.
Later I worked as a project lead and consultant at Twitter and began a feature known as retweeting and then afterward co-founded Thing Labs where we made Brizzly. We sold that company and then later, I started a new one called Avocado. And now I'm starting a product called Myxt. 'Cause I hate sleep, I guess.
Occasionally I make music, movies. I also eat (with some reservations).

I'm glad you like it! It's been fun to build.
Actually, mehrdata, I think you might be reading a lot more into my statements than are actually present. While cultures evolve, I feel lucky we were able to make Reader within Google. I think that its being at Google…
Small correction: Actually, I've long asserted that Google's infrastructure and talent are key reasons that Reader was successful. I think that neither in the interview, nor the article, did I suggest that – though I…
