agreed, but not seeking employment that provides insurance is
sounds like communism to me. I prefer survival of the fittest, and you don't sound very fit to me, which makes it understandable why you would be in favor of everyone else supporting the load.
you allow me to? so what if I stop working and pay no taxes? do I have to leave? you sound very self righteous. I assume you're a typical liberal. do you realize you're making an argument against illegal immigration?
most likely what will happen is people will just leave CA, leaving a shortage and it will fail
> I'm sure as shit happy to pay more in taxes for a universal single single-payer. I Great, you can opt in to that, but don't force everyone else who doesn't agree with you to subsidize everyone else's poor decisions
seems like a "simpler" and more egalitarian solution would be to just encourage more females to be interested in science and technology from an early age in the first place. quota hiring is never a fair system to anyone.
as americans shouldn't we all want the same things regardless of race, ethnicity or any other form of "identity"? so in theory these things should not matter, should they?
> I definitely would read more books and try new tech if I worked 15 hours a week because EVERYONE is as productive as you are? give me a break.
wealth and value is created, not distributed. I'm sick and tired of hearing from communists about taking money away from hard working people and giving to those less deserving.
wealth is earned, not distributed.
this is the main problem. if the tax rate gets too high, high earners will find creative ways to avoid taxes and/or be less motivated to work hard. either way it's a downward spiral.
