Why click into this thread then? Do you think they will make a Swift 7 with these release notes: - removed 10 keywords cause chairhairair didn't like them - fixed swiftui cause too many users don't know order matters -…
This is a very impressive release. The continued type checker improvements are amazing, improved memory safety helping to expose hidden traps, improved debugging, improved dev experience for Android. Great job!
I don't understand this viewpoint. So, the release version is 27.0 build 26A428. That build is static, how can it get more stable than it is right now? Lets say 27.1 comes out in 2 weeks - do you update to 27.0 instead…
Xcode 27 beta 3 has been the most stable release I've ever used. The type checking improvements were understated so I gotta laugh at this xcode avoidance. Areas they could improve - what ever the heck is going on in…

Same here. Not really understanding the complaints for macOS. I think the addition of icons in the context and menus is worse than glass.
Perhaps macOS would suffice?
> I make it clear it's not about specs, it's not about UI, its about the fact that apple makes the world actively worse so they can sell you a better alternative. I like the UI. What do you think they making worse?
Add the fact that AI is writing the rust code...
Maybe less fragmentation?
Same opinion. It just feels off. Why use `fun` for function declarations instead of func or function? Dropping () before { makes it hard to tell what runs first. It feels like it's trying to be different for the sake of…
It's invaluable for mobile developers. What you think you sent and in what order, is not always what happens. Charles and Proxyman help you figure that out.
Exact opposite experience :)
I think you're being too nice. Is rage baiting teenagers really a debate?
the imgur website is one of THE shittiest ever made. Just try it on mobile or without ad blocks. They can't even play a gif properly.

Alright, I think I know what you mean - swift does have a peculiar way of completing tasks but I would also say C++ and ObjC do too but I also don't think there are too many ways. I find you can do apply java and…
Works as advertised on Edge but not on safari
