I just use tor when I download off it and spam changing my IP when it doesnt work till it does
so many people read these things and forget to check when it was written, its honestly infuriating since so much could easily change related to the article
I feel like they are just throwing out lots of old information they read without checking if its still true, since its up to room version 9 now :P and like you said they are working on native video calls in matrix
I've only had this issue when its between 2 people on the same HS, but I've never had it happen when I'm talking to someone on another HS its weird as hell
yes, you can add any room your in to a space you've made
I get quicker and more reliable notifications from a self hosted matrix instance then signal and even if I went on the signal app and looked at the chat I couldn't see the message until I got a notification a bit later…
