It’s funny because fate of the world’s longest car is somehow even worse than if it had been completely destroyed and recycled, with nothing recognizable left. One would prefer it had disappeared completely, mysteriously or abruptly, and totally forgotten and lost.

In the 1988 Guinness Book of World Records, they had a picture and description of that limousine, and I remember imagining what the owner’s life must be like, to have such a thing.

The reality though, is that it was all bullshit. The world record for such a thing is a joke. None of it matters, and the remains simply fester and decay. Ah, childhood.
