  1. Ask HN: How do you vet open source libraries?

    I try to minimise the impact of security vulnerabilities, but it just seems painstaking to look through a ton of code. Is there processes that people/companies follow that decrease the time taken to do this?

  2. Apple is now offering $500 credit instead of $200 after returning the DTK

    The credit’s expiry has also been extended to the end of the year. I’m sure that they have realised that they didn’t handle it well.
