And Steve says LG is full of shit. Thanks Steve. https://youtu.be/ToP9xfLDSME
If these companies wanted to donate to OSS, they would have already. They've made their decision.
Nobody seems to have noticed that they dropped their ampere-based thelio.
Good riddance
I'd love to see China and Russia sued for hammering my personal websites for the past 20 years... will it ever happen? Hell no, LOL.
> "According to grok" While its probably true, I didn't ask a clankers opinion about other clankers.
You can tell Claude to clone from github for Linux stuff all you want... it's still going to try web, and fail, before doing what you asked it to do.
Is it still a PITA to install? If I have to install a custom Linux distro to be able to run your app, it's not a good time.
We have a (what I thought was) large nutanix setup at $dayjob for epic emr... we have like 10-12 sysadmins for ~500 servers (end user apps, and backend infra like Citrix), and even that seems like a lot.
Where do you work that a single sysadmin manages 3000 VMs?
Panthor is supposedly pretty good, it's no rtx, but people do game on them.
Rather than converting the cold vm disk, couldn't you boot up the vm, dump the disks to stream, and send the streams into another format?

> The exciting part of this is that there are four 400GbE QSFP56-DD ports for a total of 1.6Tbps of network bandwidth. That I can't break down to 10gbit or 1gbit without another switch... > The list price is $1295, but…
Maybe that's a good idea... https://youtu.be/5fbuRCLQEsQ
> Once the 3rd-level domains are terminated, it is assumed that the now vacant 2nd-level domains will become available for registration. Should someone (other than me) scoop up fraser.name (...) What's to stop someone…
> Perhaps they could support a different Linux distribution. They won't. SV/YC love the guy, that's the only reason they're donating to Linux/OSS (but really just omarchy).
Pihole is DNS, if it's making you slow, you've got other problems... the DNS server on your home router probably has about the same performance.
> I hope people here never stop bitching about Firefox. Its getting harder and harder, at some point they'll deprecate their last sane ESR, and we'll all get stuck with all their junk.
Firefox used to be amazing, but they squandered their market share with bad decisions and stagnation. Maybe one day they'll see the light, but not likely, given their recent ai additions...
Not until you stop being cheap and let pro users use fable under their existing paid subscriptions.
