Agree! I'll go further. PowerShell covers a lot of the concerns in the OP out of the box. It is extremely well thought out and is one of my favorite cli models to buy into.

excited for .NET support so I can write NUnit tests verifying my NGINX Unit hosted software
Thanks! Yes that example is subtly different. I did also click through to the proposal but didn't see that issue. It does seem like it's still unclear what's intentional or not.
Can you clarify where it indicates it's supported i.e. which specific example? I re read and didn't see it myself, seems others are missing it. To be fair I don't see it not being supported either by the examples.
I'm confused - I read this as critical of Burke and critical of conservative movements that ignore that criticism of Burke. I feel like you're saying it was the opposite. Am I missing something?

That GitHub issue has a link labeled upstream bug pointing to: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=232939 Not sure if that helps answer your question though
Agreed! The title of the post emphasizes the satisfying outcome, but the details about the journey are equally satisfying. That compliment is a reflection of that and it's good they acknowledged it.
I haven't read the full thing but one thing you can do is institutionalize some of this stuff. The screenshot here especially: https://wizardzines.com/zines/debugging-guide/samples/2-tiny... You can institutionalize…
The Programmer's Brain is my favorite read this year, highly recommend https://www.manning.com/books/the-programmers-brain

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wouldn't have found this otherwise and it's aligning nicely with the latest podcast from Legacy Code Rocks: https://legacycoderocks.libsyn.com/self-compassion-with-clar... I appreciate this double post!
Since others are reflecting on the merits of the article in ways I agree with, here's some articles I've collected from recent discussions on "clean code". Some even try to ditch the term or argue against it, others…
