The funny thing is that even with "Single-page applications, not documents" you still have a document... your "single-page". Besides, that's NOT dataflow programming (see old papers for Fabrik, Prograph, InterCons, etc).

I have an unicorn job. 100% to my own projects. My secret? I don't use any standard technologies: Python, Ruby, PHP, etc. Too much competition there.
Which financial firms? Citations? What are they doing? Sorry guys but if they are doing finance systems with perl that's a fraud.
If Ruby has nice syntax then Smalltalk should be the syntax of the Gods ;)
