Redline will be nicely documented. Private methods and interfaces...probably not. It's a smalltalk.
Smalltalk offers things similar to Ruby, in a much more attractive package (imo). The language is smaller and more consistent. That's good enough for me.
Skipping BDD is a great idea for speed when you exit three days after founding the startup. If you go beyond that, you're going to be glad you used that basic engineering discipline
