I've lost touch after not having a mentor for the past 3 years. Looking for tips on how be a good mentee, what to look for when searching for a mentor and how to ask for help appropriately.

Are there any good resources or free online courses that I could try to see if I like design? Ideally it'd be something me and my non-technical wife could learn together but my google-fu is unable to find anything good…
