This is about as stupid as “Diesel drivers discover fundamental flaw in diesel tech as -30F temps hit the US”. Ironically the solution is essentially the same — keeping your car plugged in to keep warm.

McDonald’s already has almost completely automated restaurants. Just one or two people to maintain the machines and load raw material. It’s been running in Texas for about a year.
