Just out of curiosity, I wonder what the savings would amount to if this company used something like SpinRite to fix / recover failed drives? Although I've never used it from what I hear its pretty good at saving…
If GMail were built with Drupal, nobody would have ever heard of it, because it would suck and would have never gotten the kind of traction that GMail actually did.
if only all the browsers would run python... now that would be developer happiness. ;)
