What year is it? 2025? nobody reads code anymore -- that would result in a _decrease_ in quality.
4 seconds looking at the Readme shows that it does indeed run the java code on a JVM

The entire Excel implementation is under 50 MiB. The Word one is under 90MiB. Insane. I'm sure the features are incomplete, but both can open the normal Word and Excel files I have laying around. I'm extremely impressed.
